Charity & Jason

Charity grew up on a farm in northern Minnesota, studying to become a concert pianist.

Jason grew up in northern New Jersey

and spent his days studying dance.

For two and half decades

they have worked on Broadway,

on national tours, in recording sessions, and performing in live events worldwide.

They met working on a Broadway show together, and proved that the greatest marriage is the coming together of music and dance!

They eloped after 10 months,

and have never looked back.

Fifteen years later, and they now have 2 children,

2 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 goats.

And an limitless love of fresh, healthy food!

About CJ Farms

CJ Farms began as an idea that Charity and Jason had years ago, as they had their own home garden, and loved sharing their bounty with family and friends. They also were in constant awe of what Mother Nature was capable of, and what we as a society were doing to her detriment. Within their own household, they had changed their habits to be far more sustainable and earth-friendly, and wanted to share these practices and goods with others. However, time never really allowed the idea to be much more than just an idea. In 2020, their work industry was shut down, and it seemed like the universe was creating an opportunity for their ideas and dreams to become a reality.

And so CJ Farms was created with the principle that we can nurture our planet, and our bodies, via the food we eat and the goods we use. The produce we grow at CJ Farms is grown using only organic practices, while also building good living soil health, and providing a healthy, natural food source for our community.

CJ Farms is a regenerative, permaculture,

no-till, market-style farm.

Makers

We are makers. We both come from artistic backgrounds. Jason spent years as a professional dancer, performing all around the world, and now is a stage manager. He enjoys restoring classic cars and antiques and building all kinds of things. Charity holds a doctorate in music and is a musical director and conductor on Broadway. She is passionate about plants, and loves making crafts and home goods.

Creating things, whether it is a theatrical production, events, or handmade items, is an extension of our souls, and our life's work.

And CJ Farms is just that:

A place where everything you see and buy

is crafted and made by us.
